Anri was born and raised in Berlin, Germany. He started playing classical guitar at the age of 11 and switched to electric guitar at the age 13. At the age of 17, after playing in several rock bands as a teenager, he attended Musicians Institute (MI), which sparked his interest in Jazz and improvised music.  In 2006, at the age of 21, Anri got accepted to the renowned German music conservatory Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar. After earning his BA in 2000, Hiroshi continued his classical guitar studies at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He completed his Master’s degree in 2003. Riccardo was born in Italy. He started playing classical guitar at the age of 10 and he was admitted to a middle school specializing in music.
