Yurie

Yurie received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in vocal performance from the prestigious New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City and studied with world-class faculties and talented fellow students from all over the world. She has performed regularly at prominent jazz clubs and private events and has led her group at Bern Jazz Festival in Bern, Switzerland in 2015. 

Yurie became a member of New York Choral Society, NYC’s premier symphonic chorus, and had performed at the prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center Alice Tully Hall, Barclays Center, Madison Square Garden, and many churches and concert halls throughout the New York area.  

To deepen her knowledge of her own instrument, Yurie studied with a renowned vocal coach, Justin Stoney, a founder of New York Vocal Coaching. She found her passion for teaching and completed their voice teacher training program to share the joy of singing.

Back in Japan, she enjoys teaching students of all ages with different musical backgrounds. She aims to empower students and help them discover their inner confidence and unique voice.
