Aaron Decker began learning guitar at the age of five and performing professionally at age 14 in pit orchestras and a variety of jazz and rock ensembles in Virginia. Since then, he has been performing a wide variety of musical styles including classical, jazz, flamenco, rock and pop in places like Virginia, New York City, Boston, Kyushu, and Tokyo amongst others.
Aaron has more than five years of experience teaching lessons in several instruments as well as composition and theory.
In 2018 he earned his Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music in Boston where he studied under musicians like Sheryl Bailey, Tim Miller and Mick Goodrick. During this time he was also able to participate in master classes and study with various classical, flamenco and jazz musicians such as Adam Holzman, Andrew York, Grisha Goryachev and Victor Wooten.
Aaron moved to Japan in April of 2019 where he continues to create and perform music with a variety of musicians for a variety of audiences and functions.
