Congratulations to Nyla, who recently passed her Grade 5 Theory exam with full marks!
She took weekly theory lessons at The American Guitar Academy and prepared by doing many many past papers! Nyla loves theory, and her outstanding achievement is a testament to all her hard work and dedication. Grade 5 is already quite an advanced level, and it's extremely impressive that Nyla has passed it at her age. Here she is with her teacher Carl:
The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music is the world's foremost examination board. Nyla's superb achievement earns her internationally recognized accreditation which will stand her in good stead in the future. For example, credits such as these are counted in university applications.
Most importantly, Nyla has gained a thorough grounding in how music works. It's the basis for a lifetime of musical enjoyment and appreciation.
