We were very sad to hear of the recent passing of jazz piano legend Chick Corea at the age of 79. As well as having a profound influence on the course and development of jazz fusion, Chick was known as being an incredible improvisor.
He founded the group Return to Forever in 1971 which launched the careers of guitarist Al di Meola and bassist Stanley Clarke.
