This short piece is by the Italian Baroque guitarist Carlo Calvi (c.1610-1670).
It's a fun piece to play and provides a great opportunity to combine hammer-ons and pull-offs into a single ornament. This is known as an upper mordent and occurs very frequently in Renaissance and Baroque music.
Experiment with dynamics - try creating echo effects for example. You should also feel free to add more ornaments if you wish.
