Here is another study by the French guitarist Napoléon Coste (1805 – 1883).
It's an excellent introduction to playing in higher positions, and involves moving smoothly and cleanly between ninth position and second position.
If you already read music, then reading through this study without tab is a good way to become more familiar with the notes in ninth position. But we've provided a version with tab too in case you want to double check where those high notes are.
